I'm curious how you came to these conclusions, WeAreDormin77. Such as song like "The Son"... how do you know the half-brother takes a bullet for the dad? I don't see anything in the lyrics that spark that kind of thought.

Though I do think that is the best interpretation of the story line I've heard.

That entire summarization is deluxe. You should be awarded a medal.

Book marking this for when I'm trying to explain the story to someone else... I had most of it, but you definitely cleared up a lot!

Meet with the earth as the sober spirit sings.

That lyric I think its like the Father saying "Leave him behind we have to continue the war."
Sing Softly, Sing me to The Lake...
Sing Softly, Bring me to The Lake...

I can't believe I read through this whole thread.

When I first got Act III I thought the postcards represented contact between ms. leading and the boy which I validated with the decoder, thinking that also referenced ms. leading. But no, I was wrong.

I haven't delved into the lyrics for myself yet, but plan on doing so this summer. Then I can actually form my own thoughts on the story, although these track by tracks are cool and do help.
